About The Georgia Children's Museum

The Georgia Children’s Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 educational and cultural museum for children ages two to twelve and their families.  Exhibits and Programs are designed to encourage adult and child interaction – encouraging family play and dialogue, supporting curiosity and creativity and sparking a love of learning!

GCM seeks to strengthen the fabric of education for all children throughout the Middle Georgia region including Macon, Warner Robins, Perry, Forsyth, Byron. The Georgia Children's Museum offers new types of educational models that reinforce the educational achievement of all children. The programs help support parents, teachers and mentors in their efforts to help children to acquire cultural capital and valued social roles.  The Georgia Children's Museum is dedicated to applying the latest in technology and plans to remain on the cutting edge of interactive learning.

To make your experience at GCM the best it can be please keep the following in mind:

  • Keep kids safe – stay with your child.
  • Teach respect – please return exhibits to order when you leave so that other guests may enjoy them.
  • Give your child the gift of undivided attention – put down the newspaper and put cell phones away and play!
