The Georgia Children’s Museum is dedicated to serving Middle Georgia children and their families. We strive to provide a fun, safe space for children to create, learn, and experience new things every day. By providing exceptional exhibits, fantastic field trips, and provocative programs GCM offers numerous opportunities for children to learn beyond their classrooms and play outside their backyards.
Part of our goal is to make all of the fun and excitement GCM has to offer accessible to all children in Middle Georgia. We have taken on several initiatives to accomplish this goal. Every Tuesday from 10:30am-2:30pm admission is free to City of Macon residents. The First Friday of every month we offer free admission and activities from 5:30-8:30pm. Our Field Trips are another great opportunity for children to experience GCM who may not otherwise be able to.
Additionally, we are happy to offer low-priced special programs and regular museum admission to children of all ages. GCM takes pride in being able to offer these valuable services to our community while still maintaining the quality and integrity that one expects from a museum.
