underworld haunted house

Underworld Haunted House was created in 2005 in order to help the The Georgia Children’s Museum raise operating funds.  The Haunted House has grown tremendously since its creation.  Each year there is an intense process of creating an experience that our guests will enjoy and remember and hopefully make them want to return the next year for a new scare.  Our volunteers are dedicated to giving of themselves and their time to make Underworld a huge success; Hundreds of hours go into building and staging the Haunted House.  The following in the middle Georgia area that is so great some of our guests return several times during our October show to be scared again and again.  There are subtle changes each night so that the returning guests will have a little different experience each time.

The 2007 show, FACE YOUR FEARS, was absolutely amazing!  The turnout was so large that people were willing to wait until 1:30 a.m. to be led through the House.  Guests of all ages visited and some were so scared they couldn’t make it through the whole house, but had to be led out “safely”.  During the 2007 show, many new rooms were put into play, and recycled a few of the most popular rooms.  In the hopes of making each person’s visit a unique experience, the cast practices and plans every detail so that everything runs as smoothly as possible.  Guests were polled as they were leaving which room or scare they remembered or liked the most and everyone took something different away from the show.  There were no two answers alike!

The 2008 show, WHERE YOUR SCREAMS COME TRUE, will be even bigger and better than any of the previous shows.  Planning began in December of 2007; there are new rooms, new scares, and a brand new theme, so that our cast can scare the daylights out of people.  Rest assured that people will be amazed at the additions for this Halloween!  There are extra dates so that no one will miss out on the show this year.  The cast is dedicated to staying as long as there are people in line to scare.
